New President for AOL's TACODA

In New York, behavioural targeting firm TACODA has promoted Daniel Jaye to the post of President, six months after he joined the firm as Exec VP Product Management & Development.

Daniel JayeJaye succeeds Curt Viebranz who stepped up to be Executive VP and President of the online giant's new Platform A, after the firm completed its acquisition of Tacoda last month (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7281.htm ).

'We knew from the start that Dan was an exceptional and innovative business leader. His years of executive level management are just what we need to lead TACODA into its very promising future,' said Viebranz.

Jaye joined TACODA in April with a 20-year background in software product management, Internet advertising, and behavioural targeting and profiling. He was previously Chairman and CTO of a data privacy firm which he founded called Permissus, and in the seven years prior to this he was Co-Founder and CTO of enterprise marketing software company Engage. He began his career as Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting and then worked at Fidelity Investments and Epsilon Data Management. Jaye is a graduate of Harvard University with degrees in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Physics.

While TACODA will remain focused on increasing reach for advertisers and revenue for publishers, in his new role Jaye and his team will be tasked with integrating the behavioural targeting platform with AOL's sites and network publishers to bring its full benefit to advertisers - this means he will continue to work closely with Viebranz.

TACODA Audience Networks, established in 2001, helps brand advertisers to target relevant messages to specific audience segments, and is online at www.tacoda.com.
