Research PR Specialist Heads for Home

After 11 years in the UK, former Nielsen//NetRatings marcoms and PR specialist Andreas Gutjahr has returned to Germany to head the new consultancy division of research communications agency Faktenkontor.

He joins from specialist MR PR consultancy GutjahrGreen Communications, which he co-founded in January with former colleague Lucy Green (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6371.htm ). Prior to this he was Marketing Manager at Nielsen//NetRatings, European Marketing Manager at Internet measurement company Jupiter Media Metrix, and before this served as and Head of Marketing at Winweb.

Gutjahr studied European Business Administration at the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft, Berlin and Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge; and graduated with a BA (hons) and the equivalent German Diplom Kaufmann.

He told DRNO that after his recent marriage to a fellow German, it was time to return home and that Faktenkontor had made him an offer he 'couldn't refuse'.

Hamburg-based Faktenkontor offers public relations services to a broad range of clients. The company has an in-house team of researchers who conduct studies with external market research agencies; the results of which are used to help clients achieve media coverage.
