Real Estate Firm Hires Research Head

In the US, commercial real estate firm Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers has hired Kevin Thorpe as Vice President Director of Research, to oversee all market research activities, including data analysis and forecasting.

For the past eight years, Thorpe has been Manager of Housing Statistics at the National Association of Realtors where he managed production of Existing Home Sales (EHS) statistics and developed the Pending Homes Sales Index. Thorpe has an MBA with a concentration in Statistics from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a BA with a concentration in Economics from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.

'Kevin brings us invaluable experience in real estate data analysis and reporting, with a particular emphasis on benchmarking and measuring market performance to create accurate forecasts,' commented Joe Stettinius, MD Investor Services.

In his new role, Thorpe will also direct the firm's quarterly office market surveys, market insights and the annual office sales survey.
