Green Research Partnership Grows

Environmental specialists Greentech Media, Inc. and The Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development have added to their range of research offerings covering alternative energy and sustainable development markets, launching a solar power service.

The two organisations launched their partnership in September (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7364.htm ). The new suite of services for those in the solar/photovoltaics industry include in-depth market studies, bi-weekly and monthly newsletters, and quarterly 'State of the Industry' webinars, adding up - the partners say - to 'a complete knowledgebase for industry players, revealing critical data on the solar/PV supply chain, demand drivers, pricing, policy, and financing.'

From January 2008, the service will cover topics including PPAs, the PV value and supply chains, potential for thin film solar, and general demand and 'solar economics'. Subscribers will also receive an annual subscription to the well-established newsletter PV News. The quarterly webinars will be hosted by Travis Bradford, President of the Prometheus Institute.

Greentech Media is headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., with operations in New York City and San Francisco and a home page at www.greentechmedia.com. The Prometheus Institute is online at www.prometheus.org.
