CfMC Upgrades Survey Tool

CfMC has released an upgraded CATI and Web survey tool, Survent v8.1. New features include greater online and CATI survey capabilities and the first release of webSuper, a browser-based supervisory tool.

The new release also boasts increased sample-dialler integration and reporting, and greater multi-modal project management features.

webSuper allows users to manage their interviewers and CATI shop 'from anywhere with a few clicks of the mouse' and includes an enhanced 'Web dashboard' with real-time study and interviewer information and cross-study sample reports. It also enables clients to manage multi-modal surveys (phone to web and vice versa), monitor interviewers in remote locations and change and add sample on the fly.

Questionnaire and survey improvements include simpler multi-language capabilities using the UTF-8 character set; enhanced CATI, sample management, dialler capabilities including better quota management and support for 'do not contact' lists with email as well as telephone numbers; and dialler integration improvements such as dialler logging and support for caller_ID and VOIP diallers. Gathering of survey data via browsers is also enhanced, with support for customized/user JavaScripts to be used in conjunction with CfMC JavaScripts.

CfMC says Survent is the most widely used CATI and CAPI software in the United States. Established in 1967, the company also offers online survey tool webSurvent. With offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, and London, CfMC is online at www.cfmc.com.
