Synovate Promotes Raemdonck to Head Global Analytics

Synovate Belgium MD Hans Raemdonck has taken up the new post of Global Head of Decision Systems, overseeing the firm's international team of statisticians, data analysis executives and research consultants.

Raemdonck was MD and founder of Belgium-based research firm Columbus Quanti, prior to its acquisition by Synovate in 2005 (www.mrweb.com/drno/news3854.htm ). Before setting up his own business, he worked at Procter & Gamble. He has a doctorate in science from the University of Ghent.

Ged Parton, the member of Synovate's Global Executive with responsibility for Decision Systems explained that Raemdonck will be tasked with developing a strategy to meet client requirements for more sophisticated analytics output.

'With Hans leading our innovation programme, we are confident that our analytics offer will go from strength to strength,' said Parton. Raemdonck says the firm sees a 'real opportunity' to use its analytics and modeling capabilities to differentiate it from its competition.

The company employs more than 5,700 staff in 115 cities across 51 countries and is online at www.synovate.com.
