infoUSA Firm to Ramp Up AsiaPac Presence

Company profiling firm OneSource Information Services will be expanding in the Asia Pacific region, doubling its workforce in Singapore during the forthcoming year.

The infoUSA-owned firm says that the move should increase revenue by more than 50%, and adds that the additional resources will focus on improving customer support, training and product specialisation in the region.

'We're taking these aggressive steps to ensure we remain at the forefront of this growth in the Asia-Pacific region,' said Vin Gupta, Chairman and CEO of infoUSA. 'Businesses, both large and small, are recognizing more and more how our qualified information can positively impact their bottom line.'

OneSource offers a business information resource encompassing more than 16.4 million company profiles, 18 million executives, corporate families, industries financials, news, analyst reports, and trade and business press articles. The firm first entered the Asia-pacific market in 2002, and recently rolled out its new customer relationship management integration module in Asia, to allow merging of its data systems with other popular applications.

Headquartered in Concord, Massachusetts, with offices located in North America, Europe, Pacific Rim, and Latin America, the firm is online at www.onesource.com .

Earlier this week, database giant infoUSA (which owns MR firm Opinion Research Corporation) announced plans to compile telephone-verified B2B and B2C databases for China and India (www.mrweb.com/drno/news8128.htm ).
