PeopleMetrics Opens New Pharma / Biotech MR Unit

In the US, customer and employee engagement specialist PeopleMetrics has formed a division dedicated to the market research needs of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

The new PeopleMetrics Rx division has been established to help clients grow their brands and enhance physician engagement through MR services such as custom study design and advanced analytical capabilities. It will also offer proprietary online tools to enable clients to view real-time results with significance testing as well as physician open-ended comments.

PeopleMetrics CEO Sean McDade explained that his firm initially helped pharma and biotech companies with internal issues including employee engagement and internal communications, and said that the addition of this new service extends the company's offering to include brand tracking, segmentation and new product tests.

'Our market research work within this sector has grown 100% during the past 4 years and we felt it was the right time to create a division dedicated to this important industry,' commented divisional head, EVP Gary White.
