In-Stat Hires Director of Primary Research

In the US, technology market research firm In-Stat has appointed Greg Heikes as Director of Primary Research.

Heikes will oversee a team which conducts works across both the consumer and business markets. He takes over the role from Janet Wise who left In-Stat in November to take up the same position at ABI Research.

Prior to joining, Heikes was Director of Market and Customer Research at Holt Rinehart & Winston, a division of Harcourt Education. Before this, he held a variety of primary research positions at Medical Device Market Research, Centerpulse, NuStats, and John Deere. He also spent three years as a volunteer in the United States Peace Corps and has a BA in Biology and Chemistry, and an MS in Economics.

Commented John Dinsdale, In-Stat's VP & GM: 'Greg has over ten years experience directing, managing and executing consumer and business survey research across multiple sectors both domestically and internationally and is perfectly suited to build upon our already strong primary research foundation.'

In-Stat is part of the Reed Elsevier global information network, providing research, market analysis and forecasts of advanced communications services, infrastructure, end-user devices and semiconductors.

The firm, which recently launched a new service to provide deployment information for mobile wireless technology, is online at www.in-stat.com .
