Yankee and AMRB in MENA Partnership

US technology specialist Yankee Group has partnered with Dubai-based researcher AMRB to offer thought leadership and analysis in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The firms say the alliance will bring Yankee's insight and expertise to AMRB clients in the region, while allowing Yankee to enhamce its global insight with the field research conducted by AMRB.

Yankee Group and AMRB's parent company IMRB International, have worked together in India for two years and Gagan Bhalla, General Manager (MENA) for AMRB, said his firm is very happy to extend this association to the MENA region.

Yankee Group President and CEO Emily Green explained that the telecom arena in the MENA region is undergoing enormous change, with most markets experiencing a transition from monopoly to multiple service providers, rapid growth in adoption of mobile phones and increasingly discriminating consumers.

'Reliable and cutting-edge research on global and regional developments and trends within the telecom sector are an invaluable asset for any company operating within this context,' said Green. 'We are confident that with AMRB we will be able to add significant insight to our clients and partners in the region and beyond.'
