Ci Bags Nunwood Director, Plans More Senior Hires

In the UK, market research consultancy Ci Research has appointed former Nunwood Board member Richard Walker as its Director responsible for PR, marketing and brand development. The firm is also planning to make several other appointments in the coming months.

Walker joined Nunwood seven years ago as Associate Director - Qualitative, and in 2006 was promoted to lead the firm's new in-house film production unit. He joins Ci with a total of 14 years of research and marketing experience gained in both the UK and Australia and also including time at Market Profiles, ACA Research and RBA Research. His sectors of expertise include retail, FMCG and telecoms, and he specialises in segmentation, customer experience, new product development, branding and communications.

'Richard's background, experience and enthusiasm fit perfectly with both our core business philosophy and our plans for expansion,' commented Ci Director Colin Auton. 'His is the first of several high-profile appointments we have planned for this quarter.'

In his new role, Walker's remit will also cover innovation and new service development, in addition to client development and management.
