Radiology Panel Launched
Medical technology MR firm The MarkeTech Group (TMTG) has launched what it believes is the first longitudinal panel of hospital-based imaging directors and managers working in radiology departments around the US.
The new opt-in panel already has 600 members, which the firm says represents an estimated 25% of the nation's hospital diagnostic imaging purchasing power.
According to Jeffrey Palmucci, President of the Association for Medical Imaging Management, results from the panel confirm that imaging managers now play a more integral role in purchasing decisions.
TMTG Founder and CEO Dr Christian Renaudin commented: 'In the last 10 years, we have witnessed a dramatic shift in power between clinicians and administrators in medical imaging purchase decisions. We thought it was time to give a formal voice to radiology administrators.'
TMTG was founded in 1996, to provide ad hoc customer research in the healthcare marketplace. With offices in the US and EU, the firm combines medical knowledge and market research expertise.
