Polk Promotes Auto Veteran
In the US, automotive research agency RL Polk & Co has promoted Kendra Rawls to SVP and MD Global Sales Operations for Polk Global Automotive. She leads the newly-formed sales operation which includes around 450 professionals.
 Rawls, who has more than 18 years' auto industry experience, joined the firm in 2003. She most recently led its European operations, and prior to this, she served in several leadership roles in Canada, Germany and the UK.
Before joining, Rawls spent 13 years in a variety of positions within Ford Motor Company's sales and marketing group. She holds a BA in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Eli Broad College of Management at Michigan State University.
In her new role, Rawls will oversee the firm's offices in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, and lead sales activities for the US, Canada, China, Japan and Australia. In addition, she also sits on the Board of Polk ROADTODATA, a price and specifications company based in London.
She now reports to Joe Walker, President Polk Global Automotive, who comments: 'Kendra's dynamic leadership, product expertise and proven track record in helping customers solve their most pressing business challenges will help us advance as we continue to build our operations to serve customers on a broad, global scale.'
In May, Polk extended the reach of its PolkInsight tool to Europe, to provide access to a range of European auto information for analysts and marketers.
