MindFireInc Hires to Develop Web Analytics Platform

In the US, marketing intelligence software provider MindFireInc has appointed IT industry veteran Arie Abecassis as President and Chief Operating Officer, to focus on building market share of the firm's SaaS-based web analytics platform.

Abecassis joins with more than 20 years' experience as a senior executive, entrepreneur and investor in emerging technology and information services businesses.

He was most recently a member of the investment team at Updata Partners, a firm specializing in providing venture capital to software and technology companies. Prior to this, he was MD of Research Partners, and held senior level positions in the venture capital, media and information services industries, including Thomson-Reuters and Marvel Entertainment Group. He holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
