Deal Brings Change of Focus for US Qual Firm

In the US, research firm Cambridge Focus (CF) has announced a strategic partnership with business education provider Bentley University, to whose Center for Marketing Technology (CMT) it will transfer the running of its groups.

CF will then promote the Center for Marketing Technology, a state-of-the-art research facility on the Bentley campus in Waltham, MA, as its preferred 'high-tech and high-touch' focus group facility.

Bentley CMT Director Ian Cross says the arrangements will offer clients flexibility: 'CF clients can bring in their own moderator or hire Bentley CMT professionals to create a discussion guide, moderate the sessions, write a report and provide strategic recommendations.'

CF Managing Principal Lloyd Simon says the deal offers his firm 'a wonderful opportunity to extend our services to the next level of market and opinion research'.
