B2B Unveils Student Satisfaction Tool

UK-based B2B International has launched INSTEP, a tool to enable schools, colleges, universities and other educational establishments to conduct market research to understand the needs of their students.

INSTEP (Independent Student Experience Programme) has been developed by the firm's educational unit B2B Education. The system has been designed to complement the National Student Survey (NSS) - a government funded initiative run byIpsos MORI on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, and the Department for Employment and Learning, Northern Ireland.

INSTEP is an e-survey which not only measures actual levels of satisfaction, but also pinpoints the areas which are most likely to impact on student satisfaction. It can be used to understand student perception, overall satisfaction levels across the institution, identify areas of strength and weakness, priorities for improvement, and for ongoing tracking of changes in satisfaction.

Applicable at both operational and strategic levels, the tool offers the ability to drill down into faculty, school and departmental level and provides action-oriented results for incorporation into strategic development plans.

B2B International has European headquarters in the UK, an Asian base in China and an office in the US, and is online at www.b2binternational.com .
