London MR Team for Mott MacDonald
Global engineering and management consultancy Mott MacDonald has established a new market research and stakeholder team in central London, to serve both public and private sector clients. Former Benchmark Research Director Dennis de Cala will lead the division.
de Cala, who is now the firm's Head of Market Research and Consultation, joined in 2007 from communications specialist KRC Research, where he was MD. Prior to this, he was a Director at full service agency Benchmark Research.
Mott MacDonald already employs around 20 research specialists at its offices in Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester, who mainly provide social research and stakeholder consultation services. de Cala explained to DRNO that the new office has a wider remit which also includes delivering both qual and quant services to private sector, B2B and international clients.
While his team links up with market research colleagues around the country, it can also call upon consultancy colleagues' sector expertise for help with global desk-based research.
The new London-based service is available to both Mott MacDonald's existing clients, and as a 'stand alone' offering for new clients.
Employee-owned Mott MacDonald ranked 8th in the UK's Sunday Times '20 Best Big Companies to Work For' survey published in March 2008. The firm has more than 14,000 staff based at offices across Africa, Asia Pacific, Asia Subcontinent, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
