IMRB's Bhupi Mathur Dies
Bhupendra Mathur, Senior Vice President at Kantar-owned IMRB International in India, has died at the age of 50.
Known as Bhupi among his family, friends and the market research fraternity, he died peacefully in his sleep after a six month battle against cancer.
The firm's President Thomas Puliyel said: 'As a senior leader of the business he was a great support, offering advice and direction when he felt things were not quite right. He would believe strongly in his convictions, yet was kind and gentle in his feedback.'
Kantar CEO Eric Salama added that Bhupi was a truly exceptional person.
IMRB has set up an e-mail RememberingBhupi@imrbint.com where people who knew Bhupi personally and professionally can share their memories of him. He is survived by his wife Ragini and two children Rohit and Ayushi.
