A Strong Beginning for NetValue

NetValue reports strong growth for first quarter 2000 as well as expansion on the international front.

NetValue achieved consolidated revenues of FFr1,345 million for the first quarter of 2000, compared to FFR0.528 million in 1999. Company sales figures are primarily based on services sold by annual subscriptions. Renewal of such subscriptions is thus a key factor in the NetValue business model. At present, the renewal rate is nearly 100%.

Client numbers continue to grow and currently total 69 clients in three European countries compared to 36 clients at the end of last year. Clients that use NetValue's services domestically include France Telecom, the IBazar Group, Liberty Surf, ZD-Net, Aucland, the SNCF, la Poste, Disney, Danone, l'Oreal, ABN AMRO, Fimatex, Darty and M6. Other clients such as Yahoo!, MSN, Procter & Gamble, Salomon Smith Barney, BNP Paribas, and King Fisher use NetValue services in several different countries.

International expansion is now continuing apace:
  1. In order to serve the Chinese and South-East Asian markets, NetValue launched a Hong Kong subsidiary, NetValue Ltd in March.
  2. NetValue's subsidiary in North America, NetValue USA, launched its sales campaign in early April. At the same time, NetValue announced a strategic partnership with Impiric, formerly known as Wunderman Cato Johnson. The two companies will combine their skills with NetValue's source of reliable measurement data in order to offer American companies consulting services in Internet marketing strategies.
  3. The set up of new offices in Scandinavia, Mexico and Spain is planned in the near future.
