New Appointment at Media Metrix to Lead US Research

Media Metrix has appointed Dr. Rachel Mueller-Lust as Vice President and Director of Research of its US operations. Mueller-Lust will lead the research charge in the US and help advance Internet audience measurement worldwide.

Before joining Media Metrix, Mueller-Lust was Vice President, Methodology Research at Nielsen Media Research. During her nine years there, she developed numerous strategies for improving the core television audience measurement business. She also worked closely with the NSI (Nielsen Station Index) Policy Guidelines Committee, the Customer Alliance, the Media Research Council and the Advertising Research Foundation.

Mueller-Lust will be based at Media Metrix' headquarters in New York City. She also will join the Media Metrix Worldwide Research Council as the company's US representative. The Council comprises the company's most senior researchers throughout the world, and is dedicated to advancing Internet audience measurement.
