GfK on the Up and Up 5/6/00 GfK Group continues its success with full year 1999 revenues up by 22% and first quarter 2000 revenues up 20%. Total earnings of DM 760.1 billion in 1999 exceeded company expectations. The increase of 22.3% on the previous year considerably exceeded the average growth rate of 12.8% measured since the end of the 1980s. The share of revenues contributed by the group's international interests has continues to increase, with 57% of total performance achieved outside Germany. Growth was also pleasing in the first quarter of 2000. On a like for like comparison with the first quarter of 1999, total revenues rose 20.3% from DM 178.6 million to DM 214.8 million. An increase in earnings was recorded by all GfK business divisions.
