Universal Standard Using XML for Delivering Tabulations under Development 20/6/00 E-Tabs, the acknowledged leader in data delivery tools for the market research industry, is working with the OpenSurvey organisation to develop a universal standard, based on XML data structure, for distributing survey results and tabulations across both the Web and corporate Intranets. E-Tabs is currently linking with OpenSurvey to propose a DTD (Document Type Definition) that encapsulates the many facets of typical market research tabulation formats, and through which, third party tabulation packages will be able to standardise their output.
