All Change at ACNielsen China 10/07/00 Alistair Watts has been appointed as Executive Director, ACNielsen Retail Measurement Services, Greater China, effective immediately. Based in Shanghai, Watts will assume overall responsibility for ACNielsen's Retail Measurement Services division across China and Hong Kong. Watts was formerly managing director of ACNielsen's Vietnam operation. Prior to his Vietnam assignment, Watts held senior positions in ACNielsen's businesses in Singapore and New Zealand. Watts holds a BAgSc and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Massey University in New Zealand. According to Frank Martell, chief operating officer of ACNielsen Asia / Japan, Watts brings proven leadership and an outstanding knowledge of the research industry to this important position. Over the past 24 months, Alistair and his team have successfully grown ACNielsen's business in Vietnam to record levels. Watts replaces Steven Watt as Greater China's retail business head. Watt will move to another senior management position within ACNielsen, after ensuring a successful transition of his current responsibilities.
