AGB in Full Flow 'Down Under' 28/07/00 The rest of 2000 will be hectic as ATR Australia, wholly owned member of the AGB Group, moves into the next phase of development. The company is being built from scratch. New offices are being set up complete with the infrastructure to recruit and manage the panel, produce and distribute the data and service the TV network and agency clients. Most of the required staff of over 60 executives and technicians are now in place. The first wave of the establishment survey is complete and recruitment for the panel underway. In total 3000 households will be recruited onto the panel in the five metropolitan capital cities. Installation of the new TVM4 people meter started in June as well as test polling. ATR will hit 'parallel run' mode by late 2000 and will be fully operational by early January 2001.
