The first initiative from the newly merged giant is the launch of Jx
Intelligence, which features three subscription services, Market
Intelligence, Customer Intelligence and Competitive Intelligence.
The new services, to be sold along with existing services offered by Jupiter
Research, Media Metrix, and AdRelevance, will provide clients with analysis
and research intelligence about markets, regions, industries, technologies,
and customer groups by tracking activity, highlighting trends, analysing
industry segments, and evaluating the competitive landscape. These services
represent a unique combination of digital measurement from Media Metrix and
AdRelevance and market expertise from Jupiter Research and aim to deliver
critical insight into the global digital economy through a series of written
reports and interactive data delivery.
According to Tod Johnson, Chairman and CEO at JMM, "The rapid introduction

Details of the new services are:
- Market Intelligence Services will provide clients with the ability to
monitor critical market dynamics through the synthesis of Media Metrix
measurement data and Jupiter market expertise. The first set of Market
Intelligence Services from Jupiter Media Metrix will be released in October
2000 and include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK, with
additional services planned for release in 2001
- Customer Intelligence Services will provide clients with resources for
understanding and evaluating existing and potential new customer segments.
The first Customer Intelligence Services from Jupiter Media Metrix will be
released in early 2001
- Competitive Intelligence Services will provide side-by-side comparisons of
industry leaders along with the most relevant key metrics for their markets,
highlighting best practices and industry innovators. The first Competitive
Intelligence Service from Jupiter Media Metrix, covering US Financial
Services, will be released in October 2000. Additional Competitive
Intelligence services will be introduced in the near future
