FDS International has continued its impressive new business run with two
more assignments from local councils and a new project from Royal Mail.
The London Borough of Bromley has commissioned the agency to survey the
views of its Orpington residents and businesses concerning a programme of
development for Orpington Town Centre. The results, gathered from focus
group discussions and large scale face-to-face and telephone interviewing,
will help improve accessibility, enhance the environment and encourage
private inward investment.
Cambridgeshire County Council has also commissioned the agency to conduct a
postal survey among local residents to establish their experiences and views
of Council services.
According to Chairman and CEO, Janet Weitz, "Both projects further enhance
FDS’ reputation in best value and citizens research for local government and
councils".
The company is also testing advertising awareness among residential and
business users for a new Royal Mail campaign promoting extended posting
times. The campaign, which uses national press and radio, is being
researched in seven designated postcode areas throughout England.
