Millward Brown Creates Board Level Strategic Planning and Development Role



Hot on the heels of the TNS corporate rejigging, Millward Brown is also restructuring its Plc board. This follows the announcement of the merger of Millward Brown Interactive and Millward Brown IntelliQuest. From January 1, 2001, Nigel Hollis, previously Executive Head of Millward Brown Interactive and a Plc board member, takes on the newly created board level role of Group Director of Strategic Planning and Development. Reporting into Hollis, will be the Group’s R&D function, a newly created Research Applications Software Development department, and those parts of the Group Communications function concerned with client service training, knowledge management, and marcoms issues related specifically to strategy development. Commenting on the restructure, Millward Brown Group Chief Executive Bob Meyers said: " Technology has always been a Millward Brown forte, but we’ve never had one person with global responsibility for ensuring that this technology is harnessed for the benefit of all our clients.
