New NetValue Finance Service
28/2/01

The launch of the new NetValue Finance Internet research monitoring service allows financial institutions to identify company and sector performances. It is currently only available in Asia.

As a tracking service, NetValue Finance provides its users with a complete online picture. It can deliver hard data on factors such as which financial sectors are rising, audience market shares, potential profitability of business models, and the attractiveness and loyalty of sites.

In detail, the system’s features include:

  • Internet sector and property overview.
  • Sectors and dotcorps / dotcoms, performance and growth rates.
  • Market share data: audience, session, display frequency, duration.
  • Performance data: rankings, reach, number of unique visitors.
  • Trends and loyalty indicators.
  • Competitive landscape.
  • Demographic profiling.
  • Protocols.

According to Marcus Hallam, European Sales Manager of Finance, "With the extreme variance in usage and the emerging trends that we see across Asia, it’s essential that analysts study not only local site visitors but also global performance, applications used, sub-domain performances and visitor loyalty." Clayton Fitts, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, added, "This is very evident in China, where we foresee consolidation. With the top three portals going neck-to-neck in terms of high audience numbers, close attention must be paid in analysing the quality of the audience, and also migration to vertical channels of content."
