MORI Opens New Brighton Telephone Surveys Office
22/3/01

Timed a fraction ahead of the industry’s annual descent to Brighton, MORI Telephone Surveys (MTS) has opened new offices in the same seaside town. Increased demand for telephone research, both in the UK and worldwide, has prompted the move. And in case you were wondering, MrWeb will be at the conference over the next two days to bring you the latest news.

Originally set up in 1988 by Rosemary Murrey and MORI, MTS already has two other offices in London and Edinburgh servicing clients such as PwC and Nasdaq. MTS also runs an independent telephone unit – Telescope - for the Royal Bank of Scotland/Nat West Bank.

Murrey, still Managing Director of MTS, commented, "Brighton was chosen as a location for our new centre because of the calibre of the workforce available. We are growing very quickly and need to be able to recruit staff with good communication and language skills. We aim to employ around 200 staff overall. The name is synonymous with high quality research and we intend to continue to provide an excellent service to our clients."
