Aimed at an international business research audience, the email newsletter has been introduced by FIND/SVP, an online business advisory, research and consulting service. To date, Robert Berkman, editor of The Information Advisor, has compiled the newsletter through his own thorough surfing. However, he is increasingly turning to user and expert recommendations, including FIND/SVP's own inhouse staff. In order to secure a place on his list, a website has to convince Berkman of its worth. This is assessed through the value of its coverage, content, design, navigability, timeliness and authority.
