New London Office for Askia Software
25/5/01

Askia, the MR software provider, has just announced the opening of its new office in central London. It is thought that the company hopes to build on the success of its Paris office.

In terms of clients, the company can boost recent work with Lycos, the Internet network provider, which used Askia to run 7 uniquely linked questionnaires from its site as part of a re-branding exercise. Data from over 52,000 completed questionnaires were recorded in less than 2 weeks. Additionally, Askia is also currently working for BMRB, who is running a segment of its Youth TGI with the outfit.

Askia was originally a French based private company created in 1994 by Jérôme Sopoçko. In the early days, the company originally sold Analysis software as a complete solution for market research. Following growth and the appointment of Patrick George in 1996, the company’s client base has expanded to about 200 clients. Funding has now been introduced for further software development through shareholder IP Globalnet.
