Belinda LarteyIn the UK, Creative Medical Research (CMR) has appointed Belinda Lartey as Research Director, overseeing qual and quant projects and delivering guidance to the company's UK and global clients.

Founded in 2000 and based in Ipswich, CMR designs bespoke qual and quant approaches to deliver insights to support work covering every stage of the product lifecycle. In 2019 its management team, led by CEO George Ashford, completed a 'multi-million pound' buyout of the company.

Lartey (pictured) joins after a total of fifteen years at Ipsos, latterly as AD, Global Health. In between two periods at Ipsos, she worked for M&C Saatchi as an AD. During her career, she has advised pharmaceutical, biotech and health development organisations, as well as governments on health strategy in a range of therapy and topic areas.

Commenting on the appointment, Ashford said: 'Belinda is already proving to be a valuable addition to our team and with her diverse experience within the healthcare sector and her skills complement and enhance CMR's services. Belinda strengthens the senior management team and will help us to drive innovation both internally and for our clients'.
