The NPD Group has promoted four people to the rank of Vice President.
Martine Ringwald has led the firm’s rapidly growing beauty tracking service in France since its inception in 2003, and led its expansion into Italy following the acquisition of TNS’s Italian Perfumery business in 2005. As VP of the unit, she will continue its expansion to other European countries. She worked previously for TNS, OsMoz.com, and as a freelance consultant for the beauty industry.
Natalie Seidman becomes VP, Financial Services Business Development, having served as Director of Product Marketing in the same division since 2005. Her experience in 6 years at NPD includes managing the FragranceTrack service and leading the client development team for the group’s Beauty business. Sheworked previously at Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
Julie Stewart, who joined the firm in 1994, is promoted to VP, Custom Research Services. She currently leads the custom research effort for Technology, Beauty, Fashion and Sports. Before NPD she worked at CB & A Research in North Carolina.
Karl Werner is named as VP, Commercial Technology, responsible for managing three lines of business: Technology Distribution, Commercial Resellers and the newly launched Office Supplies service. A relatively recent arrival at the group, he left his role as Director of the Advanced Technology Group at Tech Data only last year. Previous employers include retailers Staples, HSN, Rite Aid, and Priceline.com.
