QRS Market Research
UK data collection agency QRS Market Research has promoted James Gough to the role of Director of Client Services, with a seat on the company's Board.
Launched in 1975, Hertfordshire-based QRS provides a full range of qual and quant services including face-to-face, telephone, and online data collection for both B2B and B2C markets. The company also conducts ad hoc studies, and has its own panel.
Gough (pictured) joined in 2011 in a graduate role as Project Executive in the Telephone Department. For the past five years, he has been an Associate Director, and after working in all areas of the business - including the face-to-face, scripting and data divisions - he has now been promoted to the role of Director of Client Services.
In this position, Gough is responsible for supporting QRS's ongoing relationships with key clients and strengthening and expanding the firm's services. He will also oversee key client development, co-ordinate sales and marketing strategies, and head up QRS's online and telephone data collection services.
MD Kathy Tomlin says of the news: 'This promotion reflects James's dedication, knowledge, and commitment to developing QRS's client service. The provision of data collection is increasingly technical, and James's expertise in scripting, data and project management ideally place him at the forefront of driving change for clients and the business alike'.
