Middle East Shopping Study Launched

MENA agency Maktoob Research has launched a syndicated study, Middle East Shopping Trends, covering shoppers in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The Middle East Shopping Trends report will canvass the opinions of those aged 18+, with a minimum 500 participants per country, and will produce insights into the psychographics of shoppers, shopping behavior and habits, brand perceptions and satisfaction levels, factors influencing choice, and trends.

Maktoob boasts access to the largest active consumer panel in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and has offices in Dubai, UAE; and Amman, Jordan.

General Manager Tamara Deprez comments: 'We have already conducted a couple of syndicated studies over the past years, such as our TravelMonitor and Mobile Syndicated Study, but it is the first time that we are running this shopping syndicated study, after many requests from regional and international advertising agencies and FMCG clients.'

Maktoob has had a busy year, announcing in May that it would roll out a service to provide advertisers, agencies and media firms in the region with insights into the impact of their online and offline ad campaigns.

Last week, a new online agency, Jeeran Research, launched in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and announced it would build a proprietary, diversified panel across 18 countries in the region.
