Biz360 Scales Social Media Monitoring Tool

Media and market intelligence solutions firm Biz360 has expanded its Community Insights social media monitoring system to make it suitable for small and middle market companies.

California-based Biz360 gathers and analyses both traditional and social media data to provide clients with a 360-degree view of their marketplace and help them measure and manage their corporate reputations.

The firm's new 'Community Insights Professional' self-serve solution monitors millions of blogs, message boards/forums, micro-blogs, social networks and social bookmarking sites as well as online news media.

It uses rich query language that provides a wide range of search options to help users extract more relevant results, along with reporting tools and metrics including automatic alerts and customized analyst reports.

With the new solution, the firm says users can pay for the features and services they want, and have the flexibility to add or change features as their business needs change in the future.

Last year, Biz360 secured a $10m investment, to develop social media analysis tools, extend its existing suite of business intelligence products and hire new sales and marketing personnel. Since then, the firm has launched Opinion Insights, which aggregates and analyzes online consumer reviews and summarizes the information at an individual brand or product level.
