Bazaarvoice Doubles HQ Office Space

US word of mouth (WOM) specialist Bazaarvoice has expanded its corporate headquarters to accommodate its current operations and meet its future growth plans.

Brett HurtThe firm, which says it has outgrown seven different locations in the past four years, has moved to a new 51,000 square foot HQ in San Clement in Austin, Texas. This adds to existing operations in London, Paris and Singapore.

The new space features an open design with areas where employees can gather, six breakout meeting rooms, a game room and two coffee bars. It also boasts panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

'Our new office has views of the Austin hill country from every side and is designed to awaken the passion and creativity in all of us,' stated founder and CEO Brett Hurt. 'A great deal of thought was put into the design to reflect the natural beauty of Austin, as well as foster the teamwork that has fueled our growth to 400 employees and 600 clients worldwide.'

Bazaarvoice offers outsourced technology, analytics, and expertise to help companies enhance the online shopping experience with social commerce applications. In August, the company launched Social Network Accelerators, a system which integrates with networks like Facebook and Twitter to distribute user-generated content and engage customers, while enabling retailers to determine how and when content is displayed on the social network.
