Auto Specialist Andy Turton Returns to TNS

In London, automotive research veteran Andy Turton has returned to TNS as Client Services Director for the Global Automotive Sector.

Andy TurtonTurton re-joins the firm with more than 25 years' auto research experience. Most recently, he served as CEO of auto industry-focused data analytics and consulting firm TRGiSKY.

He began his career in 1982 as a graduate trainee at AGB (which later became part of TNS), and then joined GfK as MD of its UK custom research business. He later founded research firm Marketing Blueprint, which was acquired by NFO in 1997. After this, Turton integrated Marketing Blueprint with another NFO business to create a dedicated auto division, and then relocated to the US to set up an auto division for NFO.

During his time with TNS, Turton also served as COO of the firm's multicultural business Market Development Group, and as COO of TNS's Customer Satisfaction practice.

In his new role, working alongside UK CEO Andrew Czarnowski, Turton will develop customer retention and acquisition programmes specifically aimed at the UK automotive industry.

'UK automotive brands continually strive for new ways to differentiate themselves without compromising their core values - maximising brand exposure in digital media is one way to do this,' states Turton. 'At TNS we will be working with these companies to find ways to diversify and maximize their reach while maintaining continuity of messaging on and offline, which will keep and attract a group of loyal brand followers.'
