Lightspeed Promotes Kelly for Leadership Role

Lightspeed Research has promoted Frank Kelly to the post of Senior Vice President, Operations, in charge of client and panel operations in the company's Americas region.

Kelly joined the company in January 2010 as SVP Global Panels, since when he has been instrumental in the integration of the Lightspeed online panel business with TNS 6th dimension.

His background includes more than 20 years' experience in the market research industry, during which time he has held senior management positions with TNS, Greenfield Online and Nielsen. He began his research career with Colgate Palmolive Company and Sherwin Williams.

In his new role, Kelly will report to Chris Urinyi, CEO, The Americas, who comments: 'Frank's exceptional depth of experience in panel and operations management make him ideally suited for this role, as we implement new methods of reaching and surveying consumers.'

Client operations is Lightspeed's largest team in the Americas, overseeing project management, sampling, survey programming and data processing; while the Panel team is responsible for panel recruiting, retention and quality, and the overall panelist experience.
