Lightspeed Research Names New CFO

In the US, Lightspeed Research has appointed T.Mitchell McCauley as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Chris Urinyi who became CEO of Lightspeed Research Americas business last November.

McCauley was previously CFO of pharma market research firm Biovid Corporation, and served as CFO, US Industrial Applications Division at Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation. He has a BA from the University of Delaware and an MA from The American University in Finance and International Business.

Reporting to President and Global CEO Anne Hedde, in his new role McCauley is responsible for all global financial management including strategy, analysis, reporting and compliance. He is based in the firm's headquarters in Princeton, NJ.

'Mitch has a proven ability to support profitable business growth through strategic business analysis,' remarked Hedde. 'He has the experience and skills to help meet our strategic financial objectives and play an integral role in Lightspeed Research's continued growth.'

Urinyi, who joined the firm in 2001, is now responsible for the business across the Americas.
