Ipsos Realigns Canada and Pacific Northwest Teams

Ipsos has realigned its resources in Western Canada and the US Pacific Northwest, aiming to bring staff closer together and boost collaboration. To support the move, Mike Rodenburgh will now lead the company's business operations across the regions.

Mike RodenburghThe firm said in a statement that the changes will affect its local practices serving clients in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, while also impacting its practice in the US Pacific Northwest.

Rodenburgh (pictured) joined the company in 2011, as VP of Product Development at Ipsos' innovation center, the Open Thinking Exchange, after holding senior positions at panels and research technology firm Vision Critical, and public opinion and marketing research firm Pollara. In his new role, he is charged with bringing the individual teams closer together to offer regional expertise to clients, while maintaining Ipsos' global advertising, loyalty, media, marketing, and public affairs specialisms.

Gary Bennewies, President and CEO of Ipsos in Canada, explains: 'We took a careful look at the market and the clients we serve from our Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle offices and it became very clear that we had opportunities for improving the way we meet their research needs. We certainly want our clients to know that they are getting the best insights possible from a team that is on the ground in their market and knows their business, but is backed by global strength and resources. And Mike Rodenburgh and his team across the region will make that their mission for 2014 and beyond.'
