Four Senior Hires for Q Research Solutions

In the US, full service consumer product testing agency Q Research Solutions (QRS) has appointed four new members of staff at its Old Bridge, New Jersey office. Each has two decades or more of research experience.

Mario da Cruz, Michele Reisner, Eve Oster and Dawne WattsQRS specialises in qual and quant consumer product testing across a range of categories from early stage through to pre-launch concept and market delivery, using sensory and market research. In addition, the firm claims that its aPOD (portable olfactive device) is the only mobile fragrance evaluation system in the world.

Mario da Cruz becomes Senior Vice President, having previously worked at sensory testing specialist MMR Research Worldwide, where he served as North American Head. Prior to this he spent more than five years at consumer opinion research company J.Reckner, where he was head of the full-service business unit and led the firm's Institute for Sensory Research. Earlier, he spent 21 years at TNS in a number of roles, including Leader of Business Insights for the firm's largest client, and Head of the Advanced Methods Group.

Michele Reisner joins after 25 years at product development specialist Moskowitz Jacobs, where she worked alongside sensory scientist Dr Howard Moskowitz, and latterly served as VP of Research. During her time with the firm, her focus was on understanding sensory data and its impact on consumer purchasing behaviour.

Joining as Vice President, Client Services, Eve Oster has more than twenty years' experience in product testing, with a focus on taste/sensory testing and home use testing. Most recently, she was VP at ORC International, prior to which she led the Client Service team at Ipsos (formerly Synovate), and worked for Newman Stein for twenty years.

Dawne Watts takes up the role of Research Director, with a twenty-year marketing research background. She joins from Ipsos InnoQuest, where as Senior Account Manager, she managed client relationships and co-ordinated partnerships with internal operations teams. Before this, she spent more than eight years at Synovate (prior to its acquisition by Ipsos); latterly serving as Senior Study Director; she was a Project Manager at Elrick & Lavidge/TNS; and she held a number of roles at Luhrs Marketing Research Corporation.
