Buy Unites EasyInsites with Tribes

Surrey, UK-based tech research specialist EasyInsites Ltd has been acquired by Tribes Research Ltd, a full service agency with a focus on online communities and other digital research services. Tribes is co-owned by one of EasyInsites' founders, Jo Winning.

Jo WinningFounded in 2009 by Winning and Charles Pearson, EasyInsites delivers custom panel solutions to UK and US clients. Winning moved to join Verve in December 2012 but then left with Kevin Goldberg a year later to form Tribes. Co-founder Pearson left EasyInsites this week to help London communities specialist Verve launch its services in North America.

The buy will bring EasyInsites staff - with many of whom Winning has worked previously - together with Tribes personnel in one central Guildford office, under the Tribes Research name, and will strengthen Tribes' multi-device qual and quant offering. EasyInsites was previously majority-owned by panel exchange operator Cint.

Winning (pictured) says of the acquisition: 'We believe this development marks an important and exciting step forward for our business and are confident that it will be beneficial to both Tribes clients and existing EasyInsites clients. Joining the two companies opens up opportunities with a wider variety of multi-device research tools combined with excellent customer service and research knowledge that is second to none'.
