Puri Replaces Wynberg as TNS Global Head of Qual

TNS has promoted Anjali Puri to the position of Global Head of its Qualitative practice, replacing Rebecca Wynberg who will move to a non-executive position as Chair of TNS Qualitative.

Anjali PuriPuri joined TNS in 2009 as Executive Director, Qualitative, Retail & Shopper and Digital Media, and for the past year has served as Head of Centre of Excellence for the global Qualitative practice. Earlier, she spent nine years at Nielsen, latterly as Global Director, Qualitative Research, and she held a number of senior qual positions at IMRB International.

In her new role, Puri will report to Director of Strategy and Transformation Jonathan Chocqueel-Mangan, and have overall responsibility for the culture, offer development and thought leadership of the qual business. Currently based in Bangalore, she will be relocating to London in the first half of the year.

Wynberg who joined the company in 2011, comments: 'Anjali is very highly regarded in our industry globally, known for her contemporary thinking in qualitative research and her ability to deliver high-quality insights to our clients who are facing increasingly complex challenges. There isn't anyone better placed than Anjali to take over the leadership of the practice.'
