Strong Growth for BDRC
UK-based BDRC Group has reported a 17.8% increase in turnover to £24.5m for the twelve months ended 30th September 2014, compared with £20.8m the previous year. Gross profits climbed 19.4%.
 In the UK, the group comprises full service firm BDRC Continental, retail specialist ESA Retail, data collection company Perspective Research Services, qual field and viewing studio firm Viewpoint, and digital provider Alligator Research. Viewpoint joined the group during the year, making a nine-month contribution to the figures, but Alligator only launched in the final quarter, so its figures have yet to be included in the group total.
Internationally, the group has offices in Singapore, Beijing, Sydney and Jakarta, and it opened in Washington DC last month, through a joint venture with full service researcher Fusion Analytics.
Group CEO Dr Cris Tarrant (pictured) comments: 'These sparkling results speak volumes for the high quality of the work being undertaken across the group. With over 170 staff and a major in-house operations capability we are increasingly being considered for the largest commissions, both in the UK and internationally.'
