The Sound Promotes Four to Partner

Vancouver-based research and brand consultancy The Sound has made four of its staff Partners in the business.

Lindsey Boyle, Caroline Fletcher, Kelli Johnson and Stuart KnapmanFounded in 2006, the company now has six offices across Canada, the US, India and the UK. As well as its research and consultancy offering, The Sound has a dedicated film team, and produces documentaries both as an output for client projects, and as standalone content for broadcast.

The new Partners are:
  • Lindsey Boyle, VP and Head of Vancouver, who joined the business in 2010, having previously been a VP at Vision Critical.
  • Caroline Fletcher, VP and Head of Toronto, who joined in 2011 from Rogers Communications where she was the lead Market Research Manager across all wireless and communications products.
  • Kelli Johnson, VP and Head of Chicago who joined in 2013 from Leo Burnett, where she had served as VP Strategy.
  • Stuart Knapman, MD and Head of London who also joined in 2013, having previously founded Essential Research and spent eight years at the BBC.
Commenting on the promotions, CEO Simon Dannatt says 2014 was another 'great year' for The Sound, and the new partners played a big part in making that happen. Co-founder Ian Pierpoint adds that the firm will continue to make new partners and release more equity to the team as the company achieves its strategic objectives.
