Simon-Kucher Names Partner for UKI Business

Global pricing strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has appointed London and Yorkshire-based Dr. Peter Colman as a Partner, leading its Technology and Industrials business in the UK and Ireland.

Founded in 1985, the firm has expanded rapidly in recent years and now has 930 professionals in 33 offices, and 97 partners worldwide. In July 2016, it announced first half revenue of EUR 116m, up nineteen percent versus the first half of 2015. Colman joined in 2008, and in all has eighteen years' experience in consulting and industry. He specialises in commercial excellence programmes to address strategy, sales & marketing, pricing and product management topics, for clients in Europe and North America. He holds a PhD in Electronics from the University of Cambridge.

Colman sees his role as helping clients to make the most of market changes to gain greater revenue, sales and profits, and highlights two current changes offering particular opportunities: the first driven by so-called 'Industry 4.0' trends such as IoT and 'servitization'; and the second coming from the price and margin management opportunities and challenges posed by Brexit.
