MarketsandMarkets Secures $56m Growth Fund

India-based niche industry syndicated and custom research provider MarketsandMarkets has raised $56m in a round of funding, which it will use to fuel growth and global expansion, with a focus on the US and European markets.

Launched in 2010, MarketsandMarkets currently employs more than 850 full-time analysts delivering quant research, market sizing and insights on niche markets, from its offices in Hadapsar Pune, India, and in the US in Chicago and Seattle, WA. The firm's competitive intelligence and market research platform, 'RT', connects more than 200,000 markets and value chains.

New funding has been led by growth equity investment firm FTV Capital, with participation from Zodius Capital. Co-founder Aman Gupta (pictured) comments: 'We are excited to partner with FTV Capital, a firm with a proven track record in building leading companies serving the global enterprise, and this growth capital will further our success in taking share in the $40 billion global market'.
