Kadence Expands in China and the Philippines

Insights agency Kadence International has continued its Asian expansion with the opening of new offices in China and the Philippines.

The firm, which is owned by Japanese MR group CMG (Cross Marketing Group), also has offices in the US, India, Singapore, Indonesia, China, and Vietnam. CMG has joined Kadence International and been rebranded as Kadence China, bringing six new members into the team. Based in Shanghai and adding to the firm's existing operations in Hong Kong, Kadence China will be led by former CMG MD Kouei Kaku as Managing Director, alongside industry veteran Steven Zhou as Research Director.

The new Manila office is being set up by Iris Lorenzo, who joins after four years leading the SEA headquarters of SIS International Research. She previously served as Director of Operations at research firm Fuld & Company; worked at Business Intelligence Group (BIG) Consulting as Asia Pacific Head of the Singapore-based Research Insights Division; and as General Manager of Global Business Research Support.
