Joan FitzGerald Joins PremiumMedia360

In New York, cloud-based advertising automation specialist PremiumMedia360 has hired former comScore / Arbitron exec Joan FitzGerald as Senior Vice President, Advanced TV Global Partnerships.

Joan FitzGeraldPremiumMedia360's tools standardize the data communication between networks, radio, OTT and agencies, to enable audience targeting and TV buys. Last year, the firm added artificial intelligence to its TV Media Data Hub, which mimics the human decision-making process, first by detecting the problems in incomplete media data, and then by automatically correcting the specific issues with each data set.

FitzGerald (pictured) joins after a brief spell at media and entertainment industry MR provider Data ImpacX, having previously led data science, analytics, product management and business development for TiVo. Prior to this, she spent six years at comScore, latterly as SVP Television and Cross-Media Services, leading the development and expansion of the firm's cross-platform initiatives. Earlier, she worked for Arbitron (now Nielsen Audio) as VP of Sales for a venture between Arbitron and Nielsen called Project Apollo. During this time, she secured contracts with US CPG and retail clients, and developed new analytics techniques to evaluate the impact of TV ads on consumer response.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO and founder John Bowser said: 'Joan is a valuable addition to the PremiumMedia360 team. As the marketplace seeks solutions that push television into the future with advanced technology and automation, our relationship enables us to work together to transition the television market into this exciting phase of seamless connectivity and greater speed-to-market, so that television operates at the speed of digital'.
